Walk The Dog

Jack has an intense interest in walking Molly.  He walks her around the house every chance he gets, and holds her lease when we go out in the afternoons.

This is a boy who loves his dog.  Is anyone surprised?

Tick Tok

We went for a hike up Temple Mountain, and enjoyed the great views, and saw a small snake.  We had a hawk flying over us for most of the hike.  Maybe he was trying to warn us that the place was infested with ticks.  Yeesh!  We brought at least ten home with us.   But the hike was great fun!

The Ancient One

Jack and Avery and Thom met this very old friend on the way to school.

This turtle is easily 18 inches across the shell.  A very big, and very ancient animal.

We also spent a happier day with Grandma Hemeleski, and went to the park for a fun jaunt.

Striking Out

We spent a day of bowling with Thom's fam in New Jersey recently.  Well, we thought it was fun.  Jack had his first chance to try some real ten pin bowling.  If you can't have fun bowling, I don't know what to tell you.

Ears Ring

Avery is growing fast and adapting well to her role as big sister and responsible young lady.  So to celebrate, she got here ears pierced.  And who should join her for the special moment?  Mom!  A fun day for our Miss Plum.
