April Showers with Things to Do

We've been a bit busy this month. Many many little events and such delaying our progress on our little blog here. Sorry 'bout that. We'll get back in the stride soon... yes, very busy....

The Dog Whisperer

Any who have met her know very well, that Ms. Avery is a 100% animal lover. Proud caretaker of her fish, dispenser of treats to the divine Miss P, and lover of squirrels and birds, moths and any other critter she can spy. But it is MooShu who gets the lion's share of her attention and knowledge lately. She has taught the dog to lay down with a single look, and has not let various mishaps to distract her from learning how to walk the Molls on her new retractable leash....

Artist's Inspiration

Avery loves spending time with her brother, and finds him a ready source for artistic energy.

Jack in April

Our smallest one is growing and changing before our eyes. He's begun to explore his neighborhood, as the weather is finally warm enough for him to get out in his stroller and see the sights of New Hampshire. He seems particularly fond of the trees, perhaps the contrast of the pine limbs against the blue sky is appealing to him. Soon enough, he will tell us, as he is really a very vocal young lad.

this is where the fishes live

We had a very successful road trip to Freeport, Maine this weekend. Jack had his first lunch out with the family and did beautifully. Though a word of advice to all moms with kids in diapers - avoid the Mediterranean Grill. And on a developmental note, Jack is rolling over and lifting his chest off surfaces. He is also trying very hard to speak - it's true!

Go Ask Alice

Elli was in her school play this fall with the role of the Cheshire Cat in "Alice in Wonderland." Elli and all her classmates had a great time putting on a fun show.
