We had a great time on ACT 9.  Every member of our family made new friends and cemented older friendships as well.  All this while raising hundreds of thousands of dollars for a good cause.

We are already gearing up for ACT 10!

Closing Ceremonies: ACT 9

 Closing ceremonies marks the end of the ACT experience for the year.  Crew begins boarding the bus from lunch....

 While crowds gather at the capitol square....

 It is a celebratory moment!
 With speeches and music...

And dancing!

 We pause to reflect on what we've accomplished...

we make plans to meet our new friends again soon...

Food Prep: ACT 9

 We put a lot of love into all the food we made for ACT 9.  Our small crew, augmented by many day crew members, made bread, sauce, calzones, meatballs, mac &cheese, BBQ chicken, BBQ Tofu, strata, pancakes, egg&cheese biscuits, and so much more.   I am super proud of all my foodies!

Other Ride Traditions: ACT 9

 Over the years many little traditions have popped up in the ACT community, like body painting and temporary tattoos...

 Here, Cody marks up the street with informational and inspirational messages for the riders....

On the Road: ACT 9

Jack and Avery did a great job traveling, sometimes for several hours each day to get to and from the various camps for ACT 9.  We're extremely proud of All they brought to the ride, and have this to say also:  LOOK OUT ACT 10!
