Ben and Jerry's

We went up to Vermont to visit the home of Ben&Jerry's Ice Cream.  It was a fun trip, even if the 'tour' was rather tame.   Word of warning to would be visitors:  they no longer sell 'factory seconds', which was something we hoping to find...  Also we didn't get to talk to any cows...

Send in the Clowns

Clowning runs in the family.  Elli took part in the local circus camp this week, and learned stilt walking, the diabolo and *improved* her clowning.  She is now a certified clown.

Temple Mountain

Jack and Molly and Thom visit Temple Mountain a few times a week, weather permitting.  On this sunny morning, Jack got to check out the scenery while the Mooster sniffed for clues.  There was one path she was unwilling to take-- something was down there that she didn't know, or didn't like the smell of.  So we went another way.

Going on an Explore

Alex, Adam, Thom, Jack, and I headed out to Portland, Maine this past weekend to see what there was to see. It was a looong drive but we had fun! We saw Cranes poking about in marshes. We watched interesting people wandering about in knee braces while we were stuck in traffic.  And we paid a toll booth guy decked out in July 4th gear. It was a good time.

Splashtime!

It's a time-honored tradition-- splashing about in giant puddles made by a big summer storm. We couldn't resist getting outside today to check out Driveway Lake.
